A lone woman rides a flickering service elevator at midnight, the camera locked in the corner of the car as the floor indicator climbs past the top floor and keeps going. Fluorescent tubes buzz and stutter, her reflection in the steel doors multiplying with each flicker until a dozen versions of her stare back, one of them smiling. The elevator lurches to a stop, doors grinding open onto the same lobby she boarded from, only darker, the security desk empty, her own footsteps echoing a half-second late. She steps back inside, the doors close on the empty lobby, and the indicator begins climbing again, the reflections now all smiling. The camera holds on her terrified face as the lights die completely, her scream swallowed by the dark.
